What is the Direction Center?  A toll free number where computerized searches can be obtained to assist parents and other persons in locating appropriate services and resources for students with special needs.

What does the Direction Center do?  It will assist the user in locating public and/or private services.

What can the Direction Center do for parents?  It can give you a list of agencies to contact to obtain the services you need.  In addition, information regarding IDEA, FAPE, parental rights, Section 504, ADA and information related to support groups is also available.

Where is the Direction Center? It is located at the East Georgia GLRS Center in Augusta, Georgia.

How can I use it? You can use it by calling 1-800-282-7552, requesting GLRS and describing the type of information you are seeking.  The  information will be mailed to you.  OR, you may send a request for assistance by clicking on the phone number above.
