chapters will enable the reader to identify agencies that provide or facilitate
transition services in many different areas as he/she plans adequate housing and
residential services, a satisfying career/vocational pursuits, an active social
and recreational life, and participation as fully as possible in the community.
Transition is about making choices for the future. This information is offered
to promote informed consumer choice.
The
Metro East and Metro West centers of the Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS)
are proud to present this directory as a service to students, parents, and
teachers who are dealing with transition issues. However, the inclusion of any
agency or organization does not constitute
our agencies’ endorsement of its program, and at the same time, quality
programs may have been unintentionally omitted. If you are aware of agencies
