Training Offered: Bobby Dodd Industries provides vocational training services for people with intellectual disabilities, ages 16 and older. It provides vocational work assessment, work adjustment training, job placement (both supportive and competitive), job readiness classes, and case management. Classes include Activities for Daily Living (ADL), self-directed computer training, Men’s Stress Management Training, and others. Job placement can include situational assessment.
Cost: Fee depends on services accessed. The range is $25-$55/hour and can be provided by the Department of Rehabilitation Services.

BROWN COLLEGE OF COURT REPORTING

Training Offered: Court reporting and medical transcription. Classes begin quarterly and are held Monday through Thursday, days and evenings. Court reporting training ranges from 12 quarters (days) to 24 quarters (evenings). Placement services are provided.
Entrance Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 70% score or better on a proficiency test which assesses spelling, grammar, and punctuation; basic typing test.
Cost: Day class quarterly tuition is $2,400; evening class quarterly tuition is $1,200. Books, supplies, and equipment are extra. Financial aid is available.
Special Services Available: Accommodations for students with disabilities can be and have been made. The college has served students with physical disabilities and vision impairments.
