Entrance
Requirements: A
two-hour advisement test (free of charge) covering reading, writing, and math
is required for all diploma program students. The SAT, ISAT, or ACT is required
for Associate of Applied Technology Programs or college level general studies.
Continuing
Education Programs: Architectural drafting, auto-CAD, basic wiring, blue print reading,
catering, commercial drivers licensing, data entry, dBase, dental assistant,
desk top publishing, DOS, floral design, Harvard graphics, insurance, intro to
microcomputers, job readiness, keyboarding, legal secretary, lotus, manicuring,
medical terminology, national electrical code, nursing assistant, private
investigator, sharpening your people skills, teaching the preschool child,
small engine mechanics, WordPerfect.
Cost: Approximately
$21 per course hour (does not include matriculation, tuition, activity and
vehicle fees).
Special Services Available: Services depend on need. Attempts to accommodate the needs of the
disabled include arranging readers, special testing, etc. A variety of disabled
students have been served including visually impaired, hearing impaired,
orthopedically disabled, and head injured.
