Classes
are offered days, evenings, and Saturdays on a full-time or part-time basis.
On-the-job training and job placement services are available.
Entrance
Requirements: High
school diploma or GED, SAT, ACT, ASSET, or ISAT placement test acceptable
scores. SAT or ACT required for degree programs. Non-degree program entry
requires a placement test (ASSET).
Cost: $312 per
quarter plus books and supplies for a full course load. Per credit hour cost is
$26.
Special Services Available: The Equity Coordinator, Ms. Causey, coordinates services for
students with disabilities. A variety of services are provided for students on
an individual basis. Special testing (for admission purposes and in classes)
can be arranged and includes extra time for assessment, large print, oral
responses. Adaptive equipment such as FM systems for hearing impaired and VTEK
for visually impaired is provided. Extended time in individual classes and
interpreters are also available. Any student whose English or math skills need
improvement may participate in the developmental studies program. A variety of
students with disabilities are served each quarter.
