The GA-ParentNetwork is designed exclusively for parents/guardians of children with disabilities in the state of Georgia. Parents/Guardians of adult dependents are also welcome. The purpose is to allow communication between families on the common issues we share, so as to better support, advocate, and influence change for our children.

This is a discussion group for families whose children are currently enrolled in the State of Georgia's Babies Can't Wait early intervention program and the Parent Educators of Project SCEIs. The purpose of this group is to allow families to share, support and educate each other during the early intervention phase of their child's life.

Online Discussion Groups utilize the e-mail system. Messages posted to "The Online Discussion Group" are sent automatically to the mailbox of each subscriber. Each subscriber can then read and respond to your message by replying to "The Online Discussion Group .  For professional organizations they are a way to communicate information quickly and cheaply to a large geographically distant group of people. For parents of children with disabilities they have become a source of information and support that is available without ever having to leave the house.
